TECNIMONT ICB PVT. LTD. (TICB) is one of the leading engineering and construction organizations in India. An integral part of the Maire - Tecnimont Group (www.tecnimont.it), Tracing back its roots in year 1958, ICB Ltd as an Engineering company was set up by Late Mr.Narendra Kapadia. In year 1996, Tecnimont S.p.A. one of the leading EPC companies inEurope acquired 50% equity and company was re-christened as TECNIMONT ICB PVT. LTD. (TICB) . By 2007, Tecnimont acquired balance 50% equity and the company became a fully owned subsidiary of Tecnimont S.p.a..Starting from its origins, The Company has now a team of around 1700 specialists in the Engineering and Construction industry.   

A pacesetter in the Indian industry and a vital link in the Maire-Tecnimont global chain, TICB offers the same gamut of services as that of the group. TICB offers services to the Oil and Gas, Refinery, Polymers, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Chemical and other related sectors in India and elsewhere, from concept to Commissioning on Lumpsum Turnkey basis / Services contracts both independently and in association with Tecnimont, Italy. TICB's versatility can be gauged from the depth and spread of its activities and fields of operation having successfully completed more than 350 assignments, which includes Engineering Services as well as plants on turnkey basis across sectors.

TICB is one of the few engineering and construction organizations in India, who has capability and experience in supply of plants on "Turn-key" basis in addition to rendering engineering services for large chemical and petrochemical plants.

Tecnimont ICB has a full fledged Electrical & Instrumentation Construction Division, (E&I Division) which undertakes large scale projects including Procurement of Instruments, Equipment and Erection materials, Construction, Testing / Calibration and Commissioning of projects in the field of Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Chemicals, Polysters, Power etc. Since its inception in 1976, this division has completed more than 350 assignments to its credit and is a major player in Instrumentation & Electrical Installation works.

The state of the art computer facilities and communication network gives the necessary fillip for efficient and quality support functioning. The architecture of TICB group CAD/CAE System is built around Oracle based database and the design tool PDS (Plant Design System) by Intergraph, supported by Windows NT operation system. Major software packages used by TICB include Intergraph (PDS - 56 Seats), ISOGEN, Pipecad, Intools, Frameworks+, Prima Vera, etc.

Inter-office communication and document transfer is made simple and faster through a 2mbps MLPS /VPN leased line connecting TICB's Mumbai office with Tecnimont's Milan offices.
